    Requirements

    • 6ft by 6ft space for table and equipment

    • Well lit space

    • Bathtub/bathroom, laundry room, kitchen sink or garage with access to water, drainage, and a power outlet for equipment. A portable tub is on hand.

    • Non-carpeted and non-rugged areas

    • Warm water (sink, shower, walk-in shower, hose)

    • A quiet space with little to no distractions for your pet's safety

    • Please also ensure nearby parking availability. Parking farther than a block makes it tricky to transport my equipment.

  • Yes; I will make sure to vacuum up pet hair as thoroughly as possible. For optimal results, please ensure the area is free from trash, spills, clothing, and other items that could interfere with the process prior to grooming. Many clients schedule their housekeeper on the same day.

    Given the nature of pet hair, we cannot offer a 100% hair-free guarantee. We will also do our best to prevent any drainage clogs but cannot be held accountable for blockages caused by pet hair.

    With double-coated dogs, it’s normal for some hair to settle on the floor after our departure.

    • Ensure your pet is brushed and free of mats if possible. The key is to brush from the base of the skin.

    • Keep them calm and comfortable before we arrive.

    • Inform us of any special needs or health concerns your pet may have.

  • Prices can vary (based on condition, breed, etc), but they may be slightly higher due to the added convenience of the groomer traveling to your home.

  • To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we do not accept the following types of dogs:

    1. Aggressive Dogs: Dogs that display aggressive behavior towards people. Please let us know if your dog has a history of biting or showing aggressive behavior towards specific triggers.

    2. Dogs with Untreated Medical Conditions: Dogs with untreated medical conditions that may affect their grooming experience or pose risks to their health and safety.

    3. Dogs over 30 pounds: We specialize in providing personalized care and attention to smaller breeds and find that our equipment and handling techniques are best suited for dogs weighing 30 pounds or less. This allows us to ensure the safety, comfort, and quality of service for all our furry clients.

    4. Skunked Dogs: We do not accept skunked dogs due to the unique challenges involved in de-skunking procedures. These treatments require specialized products and techniques that are not typically part of our regular grooming services. Ensuring the safety and comfort of all pets in our care is our top priority, and we recommend seeking specialized de-skunking services for the best results.

    Please note that these policies are in place to ensure a safe and comfortable grooming experience for all pets. If you have any concerns about your dog's behavior or health, please contact us beforehand to discuss your options or seek alternative grooming arrangements.

  • We offer services mainly in Toluca Lake, Studio City, Burbank, Encino Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Westwood, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Hollywood Hills, Pasadena, and Altadena, but we also service areas outside these areas for an extra fee.

  • Only for the first appointment

  • Up-to-date rabies vaccination is required.

    • Deposits can be transferred once in case of an emergency. 

    • Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment by the Client requires 48 hours notice. Any cancellations that do not provide 48 hours notice will incur a $50 fee.

    • Notwithstanding the foregoing, same-day cancellations are responsible for 50% of the appointment cost.

    • No call or No-show (as defined in Paragraph 6 below) appointments are responsible for 100% of the appointment cost and will not be rebooked after 2 instances.

    • Doggu Spaw reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if Doggu Spaw feels the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the Client and Doggu Spaw.    

    • All appointments must be confirmed before the appointment time or Client will be subject to the appointment being canceled AND applicable cancellation fees.

    • Any Pets showing aggressive (biting) behavior will be denied service and charged 100% of the grooming service cost.
