The spirit behind Doggu Spaw (ドッグスパ) is to truly create a spa-like experience for your puppy and help them find their inner Zen. Each grooming session is not just a service but a heartfelt endeavor to enhance both the appearance and well-being of your canine companion.

Here’s my story:

When my sister and I first moved to Los Angeles in 2014, my sister tried searching high and low to find a groomer for her toy poodle, Charlie, that would meet her high expectations. We scoured the internet and other review sites for highly-rated groomers, and to say the least, the results were disastrous. On many occasions, Charlie would come home with a choppy or bad haircut, and my sister would ask me if I could try and fix it.

What started out as a hobby changed once we started taking him to a Japanese grooming salon. Their precision and Charlie’s fluffy and teddy bear-like appearances became my obsession. I emulated those styles by attending seminars, reading, and researching. I then sought out an award-winning grooming school and earned my certifications and specializations in Asian-fusion and luxury grooming.

As someone who has always been naturally creative and majored in art, grooming showcases all my talents. My style of grooming focuses on the craftsmanship, creativity, cuteness/youthfulness, styling, and quality of the cut over quantity.
